2n3773 transistor pinout
2n3773 transistor pinout Diagram
The 2N3773 is a PowerBase power transistor with a high safety operating region (up to 100V and 150W), a very stable linear operating region, large DC current gain, and a small voltage drop between collector and emitter for higher efficiency. Designed primarily for high power audio, disk head positioners, audio, disk head positioners and other linear applications. The device can also be used in power switching circuits such as relay or solenoid drivers, DC-DC converters, or inverters. Pin definitions are shown below.
Épingle | Symbole | Description |
---|---|---|
1 | Base | Controls the conduction state of a transistor. The conduction between the emitter and collector is controlled by applying current. |
2 | Émetteur | Current flow transistor pin |
3 | Collectionneur | Current flows into the pins of the transistor |
The three pins (Base, Collector, and Emitter) of the 2N3773 are used for control, current input, and current output, respectively. For more detailed electrical parameters and application examples, refer to the official datasheet or consult the manufacturer’s Technical Support. When designing circuits, please pay close attention to the maximum limits of the transistor’s voltage, current, and power to ensure that it can operate stably and have a long service life.

Note:
In the table, the most suitable substitute is BD911, whose maximum current is only slightly smaller than 2N3773. Other parameters are the same, and generally speaking, it can be replaced directly. When replacing a transistor, we need to consider that the voltage, current, and power of the original circuit will not exceed the maximum parameters for replacing the transistor, and we also need to consider packaging issues. Can it be installed? Is the heat dissipation good?
