ES1B diode circuit example
As shown in the circuit diagram, a flyback diode D4 (ES1B) is connected in parallel across the relay coil to suppress the high-voltage spike generated when the coil is switched off, thereby protecting transistor Q2 and other components.
When the relay coil is energized (Q2 turns on), the relay contacts switch state: NO2 and COM2 close, while NC2 and COM2 open. When the coil is de-energized (Q2 turns off), the relay contacts revert to their default state, where NC2 and COM2 close again.
